"Done, done, done! Done with organic chemistry. Not nearly as painful as I'd built it up to be, and this book was part of what made things ok. I liked the structure of the material. Syntheses are introduced early on to get you started with simple reactions before tackling the more complicated ones. Lots of helpful explanations, charts, pictures, and summaries. The questions throughout the chapters were usually helpful in practicing material from the section, though once in awhile the questions/answers seemed to come out of the blue.
Other small complaints: - there are still some errors in the answers in the back....must be because of the change in editions - some chapters were a bit overloaded with material that didn't seem necessarily to pertain to the topic of the chapter....this might be unavoidable, but some of those chapters i found overly weighty. Instead of 2 80-page chapters in a row, how about 3 52-page chapters.
Otherwise, a great book. I could never teach myself the material without a teacher and a classroom and exams to motivate me. But I thought this was an excellent book!"
"The book is just as ordered. Slightly used but in good condition. The shipping was on time and I didn't have to wait to long. The book is a great supplement to my textbook."
