Well, When I began reading about Wicca, all I had been learning was aspects of the light and I felt out of balance. All I was reading about was The Light side.
There were some references to the Dark aspects but they never really went into detail. I know Scott Cunningham would have been happy to share that knowledge. It is almost like being a Jedi Apprentice and learning about both The Good side and The Dark side of The Force and taking the path to The Dark Side, but without burning to a crisp on Mustaphar and being rebuilt and refitted with black cybernetic armor and a breathing apparatus.
After reading this work, I finally felt the balance I was looking for as the book also appealed to my dark nature."

"Nocturnal Witchcraft" offers simple, easy to understand formulas and descriptions of magical rites for those who prefer to cast spells under the cover of the night. Overall, these formuals are well thought out and brilliantly composed; however, the book seems to be too "light and airy" for it's title. The title "Nocturnal Witchcraft" does invoke thoughts of secret and ancient incantations muttered by an aged Witch or Sorcerer with not-so-good intentions. That is not the case here. If you are fond of white magic, this book makes an excellent resource! If, however, you are of the Left Hand Path, then I feel you would be quite a bit insulted by the barely researched "facts" that the author offers up in the tiny little section about Black magic. The remainder of this book is well researched and quite marvelously written."
