About this title: A whimsical cross between Kubrick and Kafka, "The Mouse That Roared" is a quirky classic of world literature, a poignant tale of political morality, and a hilarious, ultimately triumphant portrait of international relations from the perspective of the little guy.

"Loved these when I was a kid. Reading the title immediately took me back to my unheated third floor bedroom, my basket chair, my comforter that I would wrap around me so I could read the short winter afternoons away in peace...."
"Fun little book I bought Colby eons ago about this tiny make-believe nation in Europe who becomes a super-power through a variety of mishap adventures. Fun read. Quick read. Written (I believe) in the 1940s so has a very nostalgic feel towards language and writing... and I enjoyed that aspect. Seems that today we develop way more complicated plot lines and emotion... so felt like that was missing but still a fun book to provide a break from the depressing."
