"A very serviceable edition of an interesting comedy. Not one of Shakespeare's best, but it is always nice to visit Falstaff. The set pieces are precious. I LOVE LUCY starts here."
"I haven't read Shakespeare in a long time and it was nice to do so when I didn't have to for a class. I mostly enjoyed reading this book because I was able to draw comparisons between our sense of humor now and then. It seems some things are always funny - especially witty word plays and rhymes, when a bully gets his comeuppance, and of course the good old standbys like sex jokes, funny accents, and men dressed in drag. It was also nice to read Shakespeare and not have all the characters die tragically. I'd love to see this acted out, I think some of the scenes would be genuinely comical."
