About this title: This book is based on a British Geomorphological Research Group Conference. The Conference aimed to revitalize the concept of 'large scale' geomorphology at the regional and continental scale which has been eclipsed in recent years by the concentration on process studies at the hillslope and small catchment scales. The selected papers illustrate varying approaches to the study of mega-geomorphology in most of the major environments of the world, and deal with the description, analysis, and modelling of present-day processes, past and present, and landforms at the 'mega' scale.
