"After reading Neil's first book, I remained amazed at this man's abilities. Not only is he probably the best rock drummer, he's an incredible writer also. This book tells of his travels in West Africa on bicycle (yes bicycle). Here's a man that can afford all the luxuries he could possibly want putting himself through the hardships of not only the physical conditions, but the mental ones in this country of very poor conditions and the continuing waring factions that remain to this day. He tells of each days ritual and the good and bad things that happen throughout the whole ordeal. My hats off to this man. Neil also has three other books, of which I've read two and am looking forward to the last one. Thank you Neil for some quite entertaining (and true) stories."
