Now divorced and ex-Catholic, Hedin returns to the seminary for a reunion and interviews 22 priests, 15 other men who left the seminary before being ordained, and several other men of non-priestly status who continue to serve the Catholic church. These priests tell Hedin about their lives, their loneliness, their poverty and the effect of Vatican II upon their ministry.
