"This is the text book for his course on the OCW MIT YouTube videos. The course follows the text and having the text to refer to enhances the teaching in the video. This is a more complete exposition than is found in older texts in my possession. He emphasizes a method that is used in calculators. After watching a few lectures I was determined to get a better grasp of the subject. The book helps me in reaching this goal."
