"I enjoyed this Diary story of a girl caught in the middle of the war. With a father for the freedom of slavery and a mother completely against it, poor Amelia just tries to take life a day at a time while working/living in a lighthouse.
I think I'll read some more Civil War type stories. I enjoyed it and want to learn more about our American History."
"so boring! it moved as slow as a snail!! i mean the carachter Amerlia Martin was boring! nothing NOTHING of interest happened i mean it was a waste of paper"
