This book can be a little bit heady (sp?) on the early-century prose but it's still a good read, none the less. If you are used to reading Shakespeare's brilliant works then this early book on personal development (or rather, magnetism) should not be a problem for you. I do not believe that everything mentioned is entirely true (specifically speaking about Shaftesbury's notes a nutrition) but I do find it incredibly interesting and insightful. I must say though that his eye movement exercises have helped me tremendously in my reading pursuits.
