"I purchased this book, and kept it for a reference, after suffering from acute migraines that turned out to be caused by occipital neuralgia which in turn was caused by spinal/rib mis-alignment. How I got that way is anyone's guess, but being what it was, I spent some time in physical therapy. My therapist who was also trained in yoga, suggested this book to help me understand the importance of alignment and how yoga can improve your physical well-being. It is detailed, almost to the point of overwhelming a non-scientific reader, but it's still readable and well illustrated for those who appreciate and need to know why, like me."
