"Well, I learned a few things from this book. I had never heard of the 3 types of counting before: counting without numbers, concrete counting (eg., body counting), and abstract counting, which are the three stages in the development of counting into what we know it today. I also never knew about the marks that the Greeks and Romans used with their letter numerals to form larger numbers. This would be a great book to use in an introductory math class, to give a multicultural, historical aspect to the subject. Most interesting!"
