It's Gracie Snow's job as a new motion picture production assistant to get the legendary ex-football player, Bobby Tom Denton, back to his Texas hometown to begin shooting his first movie.
Good luck with that.
"There's been a terrible misunderstanding, Mr. Denton. Can't you see that I don't look like a stripper?" Gracie snatched up her suit jacket. "Please. Could we go somewhere private to talk?"
Bobby Tom sighed and uncoiled from his chair. "I s'pose we'd better. But you've got to give me your word you'll keep your clothes on. It wouldn't be fair for me to see you naked when ...

"Reading this book was definitely worth my time with all its humor, banter and heart wrench. I find myself relating to the character of Gracie in her way of thinking and frustrations so I think, that also made me curious about how the situations will smooth out in the end.
Our hero Bobby Tom is also a well written character, I can certainly picture someone like him in real life. As a fan of dark heroes, blond Bobby Tom was not my type at all with his Stetson, vests and cowboy boots, as a matter of fact I went on reading the story with my own version of Bobby Tom. Gracie and Bobby Tom couldn't be any more different from each other, thay are total opposites but reading how their chemistry builds up and how they start to attract each other with their contrasting point of views was really intriguing. Despite the fact that she knew she was wishing for the stars, her desire to be "the one" for Bobby Tom was very touching. I was deprived of my sleep time just to see how she will be able to reform this good-looking, arrogant, selfish playboy and have the heart of the man she loves."
"Heaven Texas was such a wonderful book. I love the idea of the sexiest, most wanted man in Telarosa Texas falling for the ugly duckling. At first I thought that Bobby Tom was just a little too full of himself and a little too cocky! The idea of big breasted, blonde woman falling all over him and trying to win the title of Mrs. Bobby Tom Denton by winning his Football quiz was hilarious. But then you see the side of him that is extremely generous and never wanting anything in return so you have to love him. Gracie Snow, who becomes his personal assistant, is definitely not like the rest of his groupies and even though she can be quite bossy and a handful he finds himself adoring her more and more each day. Eventually Gracie becomes his best friend and "bed buddy" and Gracie is totally okay with that. She fell so in love with him and was willing to give him her heart and soul knowing that eventually everything would come to an end. She is the only person to ever give to Bobby Tom and not want anything in return. I liked the side story of the relationship with Bobby Tom's mom, Suzy, and Way Sawyer. As Bobby Tom dealt with the acceptance of his mother's new relationship, he was able to look back at the love his parents once shared and realized that he loved Gracie the same way. This was a great story and I absolutely loved the end when Bobby Tom gave Gracie the Football Quiz in front of half of Telarosa Texas. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!"
"Susan Elizabeth Phillips is pure wit. I have never laughed out loud this much reading a book. I have to set her books down just to cackle to myself, she's that funny. Her stories are complicated, heartfelt, and real. Her books are NOT trashy romance. They explore people and love. I read my first book of hers a week ago. Heaven, Texas is the fourth one I've finished now. I'm converted. :)"
