"This book was one of the first to attept to be a comprehensive expose of the Mormon Faith. As such it does a service, but it is flawed by an unobjective and biased hubris. The author does at some points state things that are not true about Mormons. Man is an inherently religious being. Unfortunately, he is also quite gullible and can believe many irrational things. This book shows what many people believe in Mormonism, despite a strange and questionable history of the faith."
"The analysis was very good. Most intriguing to me is the relationship of Mormonism to the Masonic lodges. The similarities are to close to not be copied. Also the consatnat changes in mormon doctrine over the last 150 years is almost to crazy."
