"From a 'parenting of teenagers' point of view that helps frazzled parents - this book was a great resource. I was frazzled when I picked it up -- it addressed my frazzeledness excellently so much so it put my mind at ease about so many things... many of you are parents of little ones... so this book will not be relevant til years later but keep it in mind. :-)"

"As far as self-help book on the subject of adolescence goes, I thought this book was terrific!

The author doesn't give a bunch of nebulous goals that are impossible to attain. Instead he just lays out psychologically what is going on in a teenager's head. I picked up a bunch of information that I use everyday. One is that teenagers are always trying to pick a fight to determine who is in control and how secure they are (just like two year olds). My job is to be a grown up (yikes) and walk away, don't fall into the trap.

Probably my number 1 suggestion on what to read when you have a teenager."
