"I CANNOT COMMEND THIS BOOK ENOUGH!!! I would plead with everyone who happens to stumble across this review to read and re-read this classic book. I have now gone through All of Grace three times and plan on reading it many times more. Please, read this book to learn about the glorious gospel of grace! Learn about justification by faith alone and come to see that Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith! Seriously consider reading this book, then buying multiple copies of it and handing them out to your Christian and non-christian friends. You won't regret it.
Spurgeon was in love with Jesus Christ. He consistently preached Christ in all his sermons and would do nothing short in all of his writing. In All of Grace, Spurgeon takes the reader by the hand and simply walks through the glorious gospel of grace. If you want to know how to be saved and come to know Jesus Christ, this is a book to read and meditate on. Spurgeon consistently warns the reader of trusting in themselves for salvation and frees the reader to release their labors in working and meriting their salvation. Salvation cannot be merited or earned, and Spurgeon walks through, proving from the Bible, that salvation is from first to last, All of grace!!!! I seriously love this book and find it extremely encouraging. Please give this book a chance and read all about the glorious, holy Savior!"
"Written in the 1800s, this book can be hard to read, especially for those who are unfamiliar with Christian terms and the Bible. But it is certainly a worthwhile read, especially his chapters on the principle of grace in confirmation and perseverence. In fact, I found some wonderful pearls of insight in those two chapters that I know I will reread often."
