About this title: Two guys on their way to a fishing trip in the Florida Keys have no idea that $5 million is stashed in the back of their Chrysler. But others do--including an unbalanced trivia buff, his brain-dead partner, and a cocaine-loving stripper. "Vulgar, violent, and gaudier than sunsets on the Keys, Dorsey's roadshow is some fun".--"The New York Times ...

"He is hilarious, I will give him that. However, his humor doesn't quite take the edge off of the violence for me. This book is like the movies Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill and if you like that, you will like this book. He does do that type of book really well. I just could not quite stomach the violence. A good read for Carl Hiaasen fans."
"as the jacket cover says, this book is in the Carl Hiassen genre of whacky crime fiction. if anything, Dorsey out whackys Hiassen. this is not always a good thing as some of the characters are so weird that they are distracting until you get used to them. on the bright side, Dorsey does a great job of weaving the disparate stories of the unusual characters into a rapidly tightening plot that drives with a lot of energy to the climax when all of the freaks meet. as a bonus, the author does a great job of winding up some of the story lines, enough to make for a good ending to this book, but leaves many threads dangling...very effectively setting up the sequel(s)...i will be reading more...recommended for Hiassen fans and those who enjoy quick reads with lots of laugh-out-loud moments."
"What to say, can't remember the last time I laughed so much at a book. Dorsey is a master of something, I'm just not sure what you'd call it. He somehow manages to weave hundreds of funny little instances/ moments/snippets of peoples lives into one outrageous tale (or tales as the 12th in the series will be released shortly), this is set around the 'Keys' in Florida, largely influenced by the repeated appearance of a serial killer named Serge. Be warned it is not for everyone, is constantly tasteless, & often displays little to no value of human or animal life. But if you suffer from a warped sense of humour (and I do mean warped) & your willing to shed your p.c.ness, it is well & truely worth a go. Can't wait to start the next one. Thanks Glenn I loved it."
"This is a great change of pace from the usual change of pace books. It is raunchy, funny and gross. The violence is quite imaginative; e.g., one person was murdered by spraying flat tire fixer down a tube into her stomach. If this is Florida, then I'm not sure I want to visit for fear that I'll be attacked, robbed, mutilated and/or killed, and not necessarily in that order. The author did an incredible job of introducing several subplots and then weaving them all together."
