"Amidst the slew of new age guides detailing the "occult" very few dive beneath the surface to provide more of the obscure knowledge. Lewis Spence's Encyclopedia of Occultism gives concise facts and names concerning various areas within the subject of the occult.
For example, you can find the meaning behind the words abacadabra and in the next section find out about Will O'Wisps or changlings.
