"It's hard to understand why this book remains out of print. A quick check on the internet will reveal that there are waiting lists of customers who would like to buy it - maybe not numbering in the hundreds of thousands but a small scale reprinting would not be a money-loser. This book has many useful drawings and instructions that show you how to make your own patterns (sorry McCall Pattern Co.). It is a self-teaching book. The styles are from the 1940s which are back in fashion right now. The only drawback is the complete absence of pants."
