"Dr.Seuss writes poetry as though he'd done nothing else in his entire life. I never get tired of reading his rhymes! No poet in the world can do as well as he does! The words he makes up himself are unheard of, original, fun, and roll off the tongue in a rhythmic way. This book, if possible, was even better than "Oh the Places You'll Go!" guaranteed to put readers into a delicious sleep. When I first saw it at my 1-and-a-half-year-old cousin's house, I'd assumed it was just another beginner's book like "The Foot Book", but I decided, what the heck, I'll check it out. I read it twice. I loved it. Of course only Dr.Seuss would look at sleeping in that particular way. My favorite parts in this book were those Crandell's who sleep-walked with candles on their heads, and my special favorite, the creature with the incredibly long tail that wakes him up every morning. If I had a tail like that, I'd bite it every night (and wouldn't be afraid to cause it wouldn't hurt until eight hours later; it takes awhile for the pain to reach all the way up to your brain). A sure-fire way to get up in the morning!"
"This is one of my all time favorites from childhood. I think I can still recite it. What did I learn? Hmmm... well, before reading it I didn't know that Oft slept aloft.
"I'm going to bed now so nobody better, come round with a special delivery letter""
