Like most wives, she doesn't want to tell her husband anything that might upset him, thus the title, "Don't Tell Alfred." Really fun social satire about all generations and as always, beautifully written."
"This book is somewhat dated, with references to European political and cultural situations of the late 1950s. The characters were a bit annoying, too. Had its moments, though. Apparently the earlier two books are much better; will try those soon."
