"I read this book 13 years ago and many times again since. I would have to say it is my all time favorite book as it introduced me to these extraordinary women. I like the style it is written in with each women basically telling her own story. The reader gets the feeling of knowing these women personally. Told in a fashion that relays the harrowing missions these women undertook. I am still surprised how very few people even know these women existed. Anna Noggle did a great service by introducing them to the public outside Russia."
