"I used this book for my intro controls courses. It's pretty good and easy to understand for the most part. I think the explanations of PID control design and lead/lag compensators could have been a little better. I'm not sure if this should be covered in an introductory course, but this book does not cover LQR control, which I find somewhat disappointing."
