"This author continues referring to God, which seems strange and a little off putting in a book about finances. So far the advice given seems helpful, so will continue reading."
"This book reminds me a little bit of Dave Ramsey's method to being debt-free, with some differences. Overall, very easy to read and understand, excellent advice for the average consumer (who is usually in a good amount of debt) and methods on how to get out of debt. I would recommend this to anyone who still uses credit cards or carries loans."
"This personal finance book is the first of its kind that I've read. I like the plans the author outlines for a successful financial approach. Give 10% of everything you earn. Save 10% of everything you earn. Live within or below 80% of what you earn. There are great practical tips and advice on getting out of debt, planning a budget, figuring out where you are financially and how to get where you want to be. There is a lot of great wisdom about wanting what you already have and not being a victim to a consume-more-and-more society. It's a good book despite the occasionally annoying tone. This might be too simplistic for more knowledgable/sophisticated financial minds but for me, it was a valuable read with solid information."
