"My parents LOVE reading this one to me, I think mostly so they can repeatedly tell me how much they love me. But its a pretty good story, of Little Nutbrown Hare continually being one-upped on how much he loves his parent, Big Nutbrown Hare, until Big Nutbrown Hare gives Little Nutbrown Hare a kiss goodnight. Unfortunately my Daddy usually uses this as the segue to put me to bed for the night. But I can't blame him, it usually works."
"Guess How Much I Love You is a cute story that explores the love between an adult-child relationship; whether it's beween animals, humans, insects, the message is universal. The story shows the son's attempt to show his dad how much he loves him, and the father's antics to out-prove his son that he loves him more. The father and son's attempt to outdo each other is uplifting to see, as people tend to get caught up in life's every day struggles. In reading negative critical reviews of the story, it is important to remember that the essence of the story is simple: remember to tell the ones you love that you love them. Too often people forget to tell the ones they love how deep and strong their love really is. The story is a simple and endearing reminder that sometimes the littlest acts of love can mean the world to a father or child, mother or child, sibling to sibling, friend to friend."
"This is a sweet story about a baby rabbit and his father. During bed time the baby rabbit tells the father how much he loves him and the father shows his love in return. I would use this book to read to the entire class or to read one on one. I would use this for a thematic unit about families. I love this book because of how sweet it is. It is a good book for a parent to read to their child."
"Little Nutbrown Hare wants to tell Big Nutbrown Hare how much he loves him. He goes through different things like stretching out his arms to show his love but Big Nutbrown Hare has longer arms. Little Nutbrown Hare says he loves him as high as he can hop but Big Nutbrown Hare can hop higher. It is a sweet story about how much you can love someone. I think it is a great bedtime or anytime story to read with a little one. Even though the story is longer, I think it can keep their attention with the pictures and the storyline. It can help build and increase the bond between a child and caregiver."
