"Seeing as chocolate is my day job, I tend to notice factual errors about chocolate and cocoa - and unfortunately, this book's got plenty of them. For instance, the cocoa variety Forastero is referred to as "forestero" throughout the book. (Yes, this is the level of accuracy that I really care about). Also, I found the photos quite repellent, which was a real feat on the part of the photographer, Christopher Hirsheimer ... for goodness' sake, what possessed him to photograph the author in stark lighting, with a pile of cookies in his hair??? And the thing with dirty spatulas and smeary bowls? It doesn't do it for me. Yuck!"
