"The problem with books like these they are a lot like native american stories where they progress something like this. A --> B --> C --> J They conclusions come out of nowhere without explanation of how they occur. This is almost every story in the first half of the book. Then we learn about Maui and the stories begin to progress and build on one another. Towards the back end of this book there are some truly cool stories to read explaining significant land marks and locations of Hawaii. Having seen these locations it adds a little special something. Overall there is some good and some bad, but the historical and geographical points make it worth reading."
