"This book is really a long introduction to the world of animation.
I both liked and disliked the contents. I was really impressed by the scope of the author's knowledge and attention to detail. He managed to cover literally every form of animation; both defining and explaining the process. It was especially helpful to garner an understanding for some of the computer programs now used.
What was frustrating about the book was that at times it gave too much information or more accurately, too much information organized badly. This was especially evident with all computer programs he mentions. My head was swimming because he jumps around so much.
All in all this is a very good reference book. I will probably pick it up again at some point to refer to certain chapters."
