"The Halloween Party has come and gone and so has the fashion show. The Clique is starting to fall apart and Massie is rounding up her best buds to stay with her. So is Claire now really in? Especially now that Alicia is friends with Olivia?
The third installment of The Clique was definitely interesting. It never slowed down in the world of what the girls will do to stay in The Clique (or create their own new one). With a fashion shoot on the horizon and new friends popping up, this is definitely one in the series to read.
It's the usual middle school drama in the book, but it was good. I enjoyed every moment of this book and can't wait to read the next one. Massie becomes more human, Claire is still Claire and I still love the little brother Todd as a character, and he is a character.
"This series continues with Massie Block discovering that not only did Alicia and Olivia steal the Octavian Country Day School uniform design contest from her, they also have a Teen People modeling shoot scheduled! That's more than she can take. She decides to get revenge upon Alicia. Meanwhile, Alicia is debating about starting up her own clique and getting out from underneath Massie's skin to start something new of her own.
I can make a text to world connection because people will always get jealous of others, especially girls. When they get jealous they want to get back at each other to prove that the other person isnt better, they get revenge. Many people in the outside world do that because they think it might change something.
I rate this book a 4 because its just like book 1 and 2 in the series. Its good, and people can relate and understand the characters but it doesn't draw you to it like other books. It does have a lot of common connections with the world and people in the book."
"I think that this book was just okay compared to the rest of The Clique Series because nothing that exciting happened in my opinion. Massie subtracted Alicia from the clique.Massie did this because Alicia switched the votes in the ballot boxes for the school uniform contest, making Alicia and her airhead friend,Olivia the winners and designers of the school uniform contest.I don't highly reccomend this book, but it's essential if you want to know whats going on in the rest of books. I am pretty excited to read Lisi Harrison's next Clique book, Invasion of the Boy Snatchers and hope it's better than this book, Revenge of the Wannabes."
"In this book Claire is finally in Massie's group. Massie and Alicia are in a fight and their friends Claire, Dylan, and Kristen can't decide whose team to be on. One time they are all on Massie's side and another time they are all on Alicia's side. Then Alicia starts her own club and makes her own friends that are like Kristen and Dylan. I learned that you should always be nice to people no matter how nice or rudethey are because if they need a friend you could become their friend too. Even if you already have some friends add another to have your friends try to be friends with too."
