"This was a quick read but fun. Noreen was a willing victim in a merger and took the buyout at the encouragement of her boyfriend, who turned out to be just trying to get her to take the buyout and dumped her as soon as she did. Turns out getting laid off was the best thing for her, isn't that always the way. She starts walking and then makes friends with her neighbors and they form the Wildwater Walking Club. They set an unusual goal of walking enough miles combined with their frequent flyer miles they pick a place to take a trip. One of her walking friends has a lavendar farm so they end up picking the Sequim Lavendar Festival in Sequim, WA. Noreen learned to not take life so seriously and get in touch with what she wanted out of life. You can learn about lavendar and products made from lavendar from this book. I highly recommend it."
