"Gitomer - the man is a genius, a legend in sales! His books are easy to digest and easy to apply if you take the initiative and get off your ass.
As the title suggests this book is all about trust. It can be used in all relationships, be that with your clients, prospects, at home, on the football field or wherever.
What I took from the book: Customer loyalty is so much more important than customer satisfaction. Trust has to be given to be received. Relationships are the most important part of selling. Prospects don't want a relationship with a "sales person" they want a relationship with a "trusted adviser". You really need to trust yourself. All this takes time.
I think everyone should read this book. It's a quick easy read that comes back during the day to haunt your thoughts and make you ponder what you are doing and why.
"An excellent book on building trust and how its earned. A must read for anyone in advisory business or sales. I will definitely read this book again. A lot of great tips."
"I had to read this book along with my sales team at work. While I've ready a handful of Jeffrey's books in the past and have enjoyed them and taken a lot away from the books, I feel as though this one was like beating a dead horse. I felt like there were some points that were embellished to prove a point, which was funny considering his book was all about trust. Maybe that means I don't trust him, I don't know. I came away realizing a few things though that perhaps I hadn't considered before. Not a terrible book, but not one of my favorites either."
