"I absolutely LOVE this series, and have really liked every book until this one - not that it's a bad read, just a little disappointing. The "next book" hook at the end, where Coyle shares Holiday Grind's chapter 1 impressed me far more, and I will certainly be looking forward to that.
The descriptions were FABULOUS in this book - Coyle does a great job putting lush details in and hooking them up with the characters' emotions. But I think all the !!! in the climax really annoyed me as a reader. But I know how hard it must be to hang in with a series and offer fresh new stuff, and this series is certainly not going stale like a pot of old coffee on the stove. Characters are changing, there's still plenty of history of NY's Greenwich Village, still plenty to like. Must be me."
