"This book is somewhat tedious but is extremely informative about the history of Christian theology. It is a great way to learn the names, periods, terms, and controversies of the faith. However, I do recommend not trying to read through this all at once. The author seems to love using the phrase "of especial importance", and it gets very old after the first hundred or so pages."
