"This book shows us that the people God used in the Bible were common people, base people a lot of times. God can be glorified by anyone, even you. God can turn anyone into a Gideon, or a Esther. These people were not special in themselves. They were special because they yielded to God. God's work through them was what made them notable. God can use anyone. Who knows how many David's or Peter's are walking with the Lord today?
Maybe God is writing another testament for future generations right now. Will you be remembered for doing good or evil in that book? Will you be in the book at all (if there is actually another addition to His story)?"

"SO GOOD! this may have been one of my favorite books of all time. it was awesome. it really takes all these characters from the bible and shows the relevance of their story to todays time. like david: it must've really taken some guts to stand up to a giant with just a slingshot. i mean, these days we tend to shrug off bible stories like they are fairy tales.. but they weren't. they were real people. just like you and me. and they had strengths and weaknesses like we do. this book really makes God's "cast of characters" come alive.
i recommend it 100 percent. i will most definitely be reading it again. and again. and again. and.."
