Description: New. A scientific study about a man with a seemingly limitless memory. The study of the man and of how his brain operates. The subject is handicapped in some ways but, it seems, is not a savant in the traditional sense. Folks like this, with what appears to be super-human powers, fascinate me. You too? read more

"Interesting case study of a man, originally thought "slow" because parents and teachers didn't understand the vast amount of information he was cataloging, who had to train himself how to forget.
From "His Control of Behavior": "The boy's vivid imagination broke down the boundary between the real and the imaginary; and this lack of distinction between the two produced quite unusual behavior on his part.""
"Scientists generally give you knowledge they've gained about the average case. Luria gives you the knowledge he's gained about an incredible outlier."
