"Way too complicated for a 'first cookbook'. Also, the illustrations were horrible--very misleading. (ie vanilla cupcakes that looked dark brown, huh?) And... why include such unhealthy items like doughnuts? To her credit, there are some great healthy recipes, but felt that most of the recipes were too advanced for a little one!"
"Simple, but tasty recipes that kids really can follow, for the most part, on their own. Illustrations make it easy to identify ingredients, and there are chapters on manners, table-setting and safety. My 5.5 year old's favorite book at the moment (she consults it multiple times a day), and is light enough for her to carry around; in addition the book is spiral-bound to make page-turning easier."
"This is THE BEST children's book I've come across yet.
I have been looking for the best children's cookbook to give to my "Children's Cooking Class" students as a gift at the end of class for the past 5months. This was my choice and it was the best I could find out there. So simple and easy to follow, with delicious recipes. It also caused the children to catch fire about cooking.
My students particularly loved the "Yogurt Pops", "Campfire Stew", and the "Frozen Bananas" dipped in chocolate and rolled in pecans."
