Oh, back for the days when you only had to worry about them overusing Venom. No clones, no specials, no $5.00 shiny covers killing my allowance...
Seriously, this was not a bad storyline. Carnage, a worse version of Venom, is loose, and Spidey needs a whole army of help to stop him, even as Carnage gathers allies of his own. There's a lot of great interplay between Peter and his superhuman friends, and my only quibble is why he didn't just ask the FF or the Avengers for help instead of going for Venom. Still, it's a classic good versus evil with some psychological implications, it set the stage for a lot of stories afterwards, and has great art from Sal Buscema and Mark Bagley. Recommended for those who haven't read it yet."
