"The gorgeous illustrations actually stood out for me more than the text, though I liked that well enough. It's a little serious for a children's book; I'd almost say it's directed more at the parent than the child. Still, I appreciate the sentiment behind it, and I think a child would get a lot of mileage out of the pictures as well, if you asked questions about what was taking place in them."
