"I got this book in the 3 days rental at the library, I liked the cover (stupid me) and also I haven't read a DS book sinse I was very young, now I know why. The writting style was dull, the characters were predictable. I skipped the middle and went to the nicely tied HEA, what a waste of gas to get the book back to the library on time so I don't have to pay a fine."
"Thought I would give a Danielle Steel book a try (had heard good things about her as a writer in general). I did not agree that she is an "Excellent" writer! I was completely bored almost the entire way through the book. The plot barely progressed and when it did move - it was unbelievably predictable. At least with other predictable books the description of the characters and their situations are captivating enough to entertain me - not so in the book.
It was about a rich, immature playboy who marries, divorces, finds the light, and marries again."

"A wonderful read. I loved the story and how things twisted at the end. Besides I didnt like that Charles that Max was going to marry. He knew from the very start that she has kids and she has a good relationship with her ex who is charming, very rich, entertaining, but irresponsible or... maybe not."
"Her "theme" in this one was teen suicide -- dreadful! Her hero is unreal; her protagonist is too dislikable and too "pat." The heroine is perhaps a bit naive. And, it seems that Danielle had a word count she wanted to meet -- repetition of facts just provided on previous pages (and paragraphs) were insulting to my intelligence -- how many times had i needed reminders of the facts?!?!? But, i did finish it so ...."
