"I just want to start by saying that my verdict is still out on Sylvia Browne. I watched her all the time on Montel, and I've also read a good five or six of her books, but I can't decide if I believe her or not. In any event, my mom purchased me this book (which may not have been the best idea) because I am always worried about the world coming to an end. The book started out kind of boring, with a lot of information about historic ideas about the end of the world. The first two sections of ancient civilizations and religion, although full of knowledge, were quite boring. However, the book got much better after that. Browne went on to discuss predictions about the end of days in regards to cults and prophets, which was all very interesting. It wasn't until the last 30 pages or so that she gave her own predictions about the future and the end of the world. All in all, I found it to be one of Browne's more interesting books, and a definite read if you are into learning about the Apocalypse. The is no question that Browne is extremely intelligent and well-researched, but a psychic, I suppose only time will tell. Regardless of what my opinions are on her, she still draws me in and makes me wonder what she has to say next :)."
