I read this book from cover to cover and was engrossed by the history and amazed at how quickly I began to understand this complex system. Duquette encourages the reader to get working in the system right away by making the tablets, rings, etc from paper. It's the creation of the items that really drives home the understanding and as DuQuette says, "if you can't do magick with a paper ring, you wont be able to do it with a gold ring"
Even if you have no interest in practicing the system, the book itself makes for an interesting read."
"This book is easy to understand, and a great place to start for understanding Enochian magical workings. It goes in to detail on how to make the props if you can't afford the real thing. It explains how the magick squares are formed and what the letters mean as well as how to put it all together to form a basic ritual. I'd recomend reading other works on enochian and other forms of ceremonial magick before trying any of this out, though. Get a broader perspective of what Enochian entities might be, before you invite one over for tea."
