"Loving this book - the third in the series. Loved the first two.
These were the first DG books I have read and on their strength I shall seek out his other works.
With the knowledge that his widow finished this book I am pleased to have found that I couldn't tell where his writing stopped and her's started.
I loved this third volume and thought it ended in a really good way. I shall avoid spoilers; suffice to say that a couple of aspects of the story sprang straight to my mind near the end which I hadn't even considered throughout - and on one of those, I could kick myself for not spotting it sooner! But they were a lovely wee touch and fitting for such an epic tale.
I really enjoyed this take on a story of Troy where the Trojan Horse is its cavalry - thoroughly good story. Would highly recommend it."
