"Ask anyone who has read and used a Chilton and they'll probably tell you these same things: The manual covers most of the particulars of the car model it was written for and educates those unfamiliar with that model to most of its peculiarities. It appears to be an update from earlier manuals covering the same model and leaves out some of the details that would be important for a person not generally familiar with the many different techniques used in the construction/production of the car.
It is a useful book and will be a vaulable companion to a factory manual for the same model car. Those manuals are much more detailed and more expensive but with the cost of cars and repairs, the extra detail will probably be worth the additional expense."
