"Defines "nomadic", but not "montane". Puts animals before people. Though short, manages to decry Agent Orange in 3 different places, but glosses over communism, refugees, and the reasons for the last war. Value-laden descriptors reveal biases throughout book, in photo captions as well as in the main body. Very nice photos and maps--almost too many maps for such a short book, could have used space for more text. Says nothing about bird flu and its impact. Briefly covers all the main information areas that teachers demand in country reports, though, and is lively and interesting. Cover is sturdy, binding looks strong, but stitching shows so can be cut more easily than is preferred for a library copy. This is one of the NG Countries of the World series, there are 20 out so far with 4 new titles are added twice a year."
