"I loved Elijah. I was so anxious to read his book, that I even started it almost after finishing the 2nd book in the series.
Elijah has everithing a girl wants to see in a male charater. He was sexy ah hell, bad ass, powerfull and the sweetest thing when he had to. Siena was also a very good female heroine, she was strong and funny. Not as good as Bella from "Jacob" but my 2nd fav.
It was good to know more about the lycans. I'm really enjoying this series. I enjoyed others more, but this one is really good."
"A wonderful turn for paranormal romance with the Nightwalker series! Well-written with great character development. I keep coming back to reread these and always find myself completely engrossed. Elijah is head of the Demon army and badly wounded from dealings with necromancers out to destroy the Demons' way of life. Siena, Queen of the Lycanthropes, has taken him in so that he may recuperate. They must overcome not only the challenges of attacks on the Demon race, but also with the politics and natural law inherent to their respective positions.
""Elijah" by Jacquelyn Frank was another great book, and I have to say I really enjoyed this next installment in the Nightwalkers series a great deal!
Elijah, the warrior captain of the Demon race, and Siena, the Queen of the Lycanthrope race, were just a great love match. Their story showed the political and personal struggles between both their societies when the mortally wounded Elijah was rescued and nursed back to health by the Queen during an ambush by their mutual enemies: the necromancers. What begins as a woman helping to save a man who is dying quickly turns into the passion and undeniable attraction the Demon and Lycanthrope have for one another, and the realization that neither can deny the other no matter the consequences of such a match.
I really loved how the author infused the love between the two characters, and also emphasized the discriminations and tolerances both societies have toward one another. A must read!"
"I almost liked this book. Where the first two books were more character driven, this one seemed more a vehicle to advance the plot within the whole of the series. I wasn't as interested or invested in Elijah as a character from the first two books, so I wasn't as interested or invested in his role within the scope of the grand scheme of the series. His imprinting on Siena seemed as if it was a contrivance to bond the species of Nightwalkers as opposed to there being a true chemistry and connection between the two characters.
I was much more interested in the story when the focus was on Jacob, Noah and Gideon, whom I hope to continue to see more of as the series progresses."
