"I really thought this book was an enjoyable read and felt like I had gone on a little holiday break, taking me away from the real world for a while. I love reading mysteries/adventure/action/ancient history type books and this story covered it all. I don't think it is brilliantly written but it was definitely good enough."

"Irritating to no end! Again, like Seven Deadly Wonders, Reilly had a great story going - and not a short story either. You're reading along and the tension is building, building, building, when suddently there are no more pages. No ending. Clearly book one of a series and the publisher didn't bother to warn the reader. How irritating! Though I really like the protagonist and want to know how the story turns out, I'm not super-likely to buy the next part, simply out of irritation."
"I had to wait for so long to read this book because it wasn't even out when I read Seven Ancient Wonders but I felt that the wait was worth it.
With all the old characters that lived through the last book and the addition of a new friend for Lily, I couldn't put the book down until I read the very last page. In parts it was so nail biting I had to hold onto my book hard so I didn't put it down! I was so engrosed that I read the book in about two days - that was with stopping to eat, bathroom breaks and watching an episode of one of my favourite TV shows at the time! I have only one bad thing to say about this book...
Why did he have to end the book with such a cliff hanger? Now I've got to wait until October to find out what happens!"
