"I had to read this book for a class. It was pretty good for a textbook, very informative about the history of the United States. I thought the authors did a pretty good job of being objective and showing the pros and cons of either side. It was even mildly entertaining at some parts, which is why I kept reading. (Almost everyone else in my class stopped trying after chapter one.) It was pretty dry, though, so only a three."
