The book started off really slow in the beginning and then it soon picks up. At one point, I had to put the book down because I actually had to cry. Do realize that with one of the characters, if you play with fire, you are bound to get burned. Holding on to the past does not promise you a happy future. Lastly, family can disappoint you quicker than a stranger. While you read this Christian fiction, believe it, if it exist in this world, its in this book. There is no color line here either. The things that happens in this novel, you would think it only happens in the "white girl world", think again ;-)"
"It was okay, but I think that if I wasn't a christian I wouldn't like it. It was a little slow to read, and the characters were barley believable. They were too good, and I don't believe that anybody is as good as these characters supposedly are."
