"I can not possibly read another word in the pathetically trite and pointless book. This type of book is what gives textbooks their bad name. If I were in school I would be banging my head against the wall.
On one page they listed the great New Englanders of America and how they have made a difference. (This is when I decided I was DONE). Here are their three examples: 1. Noah Webster (I don't have a problem with this one), 2. Madeleine Kunin- First women governor of Vermont and appointed by President Clinton to be Deputy Secretary of Education, 3. An Wang Wealthy money inventor of desktop computers. Born in China and went to Harvard at age 25. I'm sure these people are wonderful, I just wouldn't have put them in the top list of New Englanders that have changed the world. I could say a lot of really bad things right now about some things but I'm going to take deep breath and move on."
