Swift's ingenuity prompts him to build an airship, but when Tom tests the air ship on a trial run something goes wrong and both Tom and the ship crash to the ground.
Near Fine in Very Good jacket. 8vo. 216 pages. Hardcover with a tan, burgundy and blue dust jacket with a white spine. Light wear to the jacket, which has a couple of small edge tears. A sound copy and clean within.
Fine in VG+ jacket. Neither remainder nor ex-lib. Hardcover in tan boards with stamped red and black figures and titles, in period illustrated jacket, small 8vo. Facsimile copy of 1910 Grosset & Dunlap edition (textblock, boards and jacket front and spine). Fine/VG+. Book has mildly softened spine ends; mild foxing and shelving soil upper page edges. Else as new: bright, sharp and unmarked with especally tight binding and hinges. Jacket has light abrasion with touches of loss at spine ends; touches of loss at tip of upper front corner and above lower front edge; rubbing to rear panel over fore edge and hinge ridge; several faint impressions as from unopened pen on spine; central colors, figures and titles clean and sharp.
